After 15 years as a computer engineer in the Defence industry, I had a life changing moment of clarity. I chose to enjoy life and embrace every moment. As part of that I focused my professional life on the vocation that I had a true passion for – Photography.

For over a decade I thrived in this new profession, photographing hundreds of weddings and thousands of commercial and portrait sessions, all while training the next generation of photographers face-to-face.

Shortly after being awarded the title of Master Photographer I again found myself lost, searching for purpose. A long time passed before the mental fog cleared. I had come to realise that I was no longer bound by the idea that “I am photographer”, for which I believed was my true calling. What happened was I came to realise “I am a storyteller”. Photography was purely the medium I chose at the time to capture the stories I saw.

With this clarity and a renewed passion, I adopted a new skillset of film and editing, so as to arm myself with the right tools and allow me to tell stories I need to tell.

I use my skills as a DoP, Photographer, Editor & Educator to help tell stories.
